Successful innovation districts need a large variety of personalities including risk takers, operational people, businessmen and even funny individuals, says Alexandros Washburn, founding director of the Centre for Coastal Resilience and Urban Xcellence (CRUX) at Stevens Institute of Technology.
In an interview with Luther Seet, the former chief urban designer of New York City also shared how spaces must not be too perfect so that people are motivated to improve it themselves.
