The Conference of the Parties (COP) is the largest global climate change event and the main decision-making body of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC). COP30 takes place from 10 - 21 Nov 2025 in Belém, Brazil.
The COP30 Singapore Pavilion is themed “Interwoven Purpose. Regenerating Tomorrow.” It showcases how people thrive not in isolation, but through interconnected partnerships. Look out for panels curated by CLC at Cities Day on 11 Nov.

14th Mayors Forum of the World Cities Summit 2025 Report

The 14th Mayors Forum of the World Cities Summit held from 2 – 4 Jul this year was hosted by Vienna, the 2020 Lee Kuan Yew World City Prize Laureate. Focused on the theme “Liveable and Sustainable Cities: Local Solutions, Global Impact,” discussions centred on affordable housing, municipal services efficiency, collaborative city actions, urban energy transition, and water resilience. Metropolis 40th Anniversary Congress & Immersive Futures at the Global Cities Foresight Workshop

Resilient and Regenerative City: A Case Study of Bangkok

Lecture Report: Shaping Liveable Cities: A Cross-Domain Approach to Sustainable Mobility

Kate Slevin, Executive Vice President, Regional Plan Association, shares takeaways from New York City’s implementation of the Central Business District Tolling Programme (CBDTP) which works to reduce congestion, speed up commutes, and make streets safer. It also highlights the important role played by external non-governmental organisations in both partnering and challenging government leaders to implement the CBDTP.
