Appointment of CLC’s Advisory Panel (2024 – 2026)

CLC’s Advisory Panel serves as an invaluable source of expertise and mentorship for the Centre. As established leaders in their respective domains, Panel members, led by Professor Cheong Koon Hean, bring a wealth of experience expertise and advice to CLC’s work and projects, and help the Centre connect locally and internationally.
China Development Forum

CLC’s Executive Director (ED) Hugh Lim led a delegation to attend the annual China Development Forum (CDF) in Beijing, themed “Engaging with the World for Common Prosperity” in March this year.
Indonesian Delegation Visit to Singapore

From 25 to 27 March 2024, the Centre for Liveable Cities welcomed Mr Mohammad Ramdhan Pomanto, Mayor of Makassar City, Ms Silvia Halim, Deputy for Facilities and Infrastructure of Nusantara National Capital Authority (NNCA/IKN), and 20 other Indonesian officials from Makassar City, NNCA/IKN, Ministry of National Development Planning (BAPENNAS) and Ministry of Public Works and Housing (PUPR).
Visit to US Cities

A delegation from the Centre for Liveable Cities visited cities in the United States of America in April and to attend the Urban Land Institute (ULI) Spring Meeting in New York City.
Second Roundtable on the Future of Central Business Districts

On 26 Mar 2024, CLC and Arup held the second of a three-part Roundtable series on the Future of Central Business Districts (CBDs). This round, 45 representatives from Asia Pacific cities shared on the various city-level initiatives (the How to’s) and on useful indicators to realise their goals for future CBDs.
