Shaping Cities of Tomorrow: 10 Years of Partnership with Asian Cities

The Temasek Foundation Leaders in Urban Governance Programme (TFLUGP) has meaningfully inspired our alumni cities to translate plans to action and cultivated valuable city-to-city relationships. Enhancing Cities’ Liveability and Sustainability in the Face of Climate Change

Cities are at the forefront of addressing the climate crisis. This panel held at the inaugural Singapore Pavilion at COP27 shares insights on how cities can enhance liveability and sustainability in the face of climate change while exploring possibilities in climate-resilient development and regenerative designs and principles.

International Journal on Smart and Sustainable Cities (IJSSC)

Manuscript submission for the first issue of free-access IJSSC is now open. Co-published by the CLC and World Scientific Publishing, the biannual IJSSC will feature inter-disciplinary research that demonstrates novel, yet practical scientific and technological applications to city liveability and sustainability. Works can come from academia, industry, and policy, with a focus on the Asia-Pacific.
The Special Issue to be launched in March 2023 will spotlight applied research and insights on complexity science for adaptive and sustainable cities, and the science of regenerative cities.
Lee Kuan Yew World City Prize 2024 Nominations

Nominations for the Lee Kuan Yew World City Prize 2024 are now open. The Prize is awarded to outstanding cities in tackling urban challenges. Cities interested to apply for the Prize should approach an independent third party to nominate them. Nominations will close on 31 March 2023.
